(Senior) AV technician (permanent AV systems)

Our department Permanent AV Systems is looking for a (Senior) AV technician
for 40 hours per week (Veldhoven).

This department installs professional audiovisual installations. The projects are very diverse and varied: from hotels, medical sector to government and fully automated boardrooms. Service, quality and team play are top of the list to achieve optimal performance.

Function

The function includes:

  • Mounting and placing AV equipment such as projectors, LED screens, speakers, microphones and controls at the customer's premises;
  • Assembling and assembling 19'' racks with AV equipment;
  • Attending the necessary project and work discussions and completing technical project documentation;
  • Informing those involved about the progress of the work.

Profile

We ask for at least the following work experiences and training:

  • Minimum MBO working and thinking level;
  • At least 5 years of work experience with fixed AV installations and demonstrable experience in managing team members;
  • Experience with integration within existing AV & ICT networks;
  • Knowledge and experience of Extron, AMX and Crestron is an advantage, as well as experience with videoconferencing systems (including Poly, Cisco, Logitech);
  • Structured, precise, communicatively strong, stress resistant, flexible and able to work both independently and in a team;
  • In possession of VCA VOL (or willing to obtain it) and of driving license B;
  • Living in southeast Brabant.
